After a year around San Diego Rod's folks decided, in the summer of 1957, to pull up stakes and move to Miami, FL. This collection of Rod's father's slides includes some time visiting Rod's mother's sister Eileen in Pensacola where we also met up with her brother Edgar who was on a short vacation. Edgar came with us down to Miami where we set up temporary camp at the Cactus Motel while we found more permanent housing. The rest of the collection is our time around 4220 SW 7th Street and wanders around southern Florida. |
